　　Infrared quartz glass named HS, formerly called JGS3, is generally manufactured by electro melt or plasma chemical vapor deposition(PCVD), with the great advantage of an extremely low OH content (≤1ppm) and no absorption at the 2730 nm band. It compensates for the deficiency of synthetic quartz glass. High-purity quartz glass made from the PVCD process can be used for the full spectral band (190nm~3500nm).
